The serenity of a day spent by the sea dictates our activities. If it is fair and fine we’ll clamber down to the beach at low tide and walk a long way up the coast, gathering treasure as we go.
A summer squall can blow in as quickly as the tides change and the wisps of white and gray tell us it’s time to start back toward the pickup, and home.
Today we’ll stop at the market for fresh prawns, even though the fully developed storm means they will need to be broiled in the kitchen rather than grilled on the deck.
No matter! We’re at the coast! Everything is FINE when we’re at the coast.
