Happy Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving think home and family, all sharing in the blessings. Send your imagination over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house for some warm, cozy stuff to celebrate the season. Offer greetings to a friend, or collect some original images. And, whatever else you may do, pause a few moments and.. Give Thanks.
So once in every year we throng
Upon a day apart,
To praise the Lord with feast and song
In thankfulness of heart.

Merry Christmas
Imagination reigns here. Snow rests on eave and sill. Carols fill the frosty air. Inside it’s warm and cozy. Why not look around a bit? Hopefully you’ll find something new to use for your Christmas celebrations. Let me know if you need help. Otherwise, feel free to enjoy at your leisure.
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.”
_Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1809–1882)

Be My Valentine
It’s true – Hearts and flowers are in style year round. So just in case you have a bit of trouble letting others know your feelings, there’s sure to be something here to help you out. Won’t take a moment and have a look around?
We celebrate love and friendship each and every day around here. Some folks say we “wear our heart on our sleeve.” The term originated in the Middle Ages when young men and women drew names (written on a paper heart, of course) from a bowl to see who their Valentines would be. They would then wear the name pinned on their sleeves for one week. To wear your heart on your sleeve now means that it is easy for other people to know how you are feeling.
Life is to be fortified by many friendships.
To love, and to be loved is the great happiness of existence.

St. Paddy’s Day
The legendary proprietors of Ole St. Paddy’s (Est. 1727) live at the top of Church Street hill in Dublin town. The shop is just a step across the way from their tiny cottage. Often cloudy days bring reported sightings of a sparkling rainbow bridging the gap between the two buildings. Legend has it the McLean boys send their treasures across the way via said rainbow. Still, legend has it the McLean’s aren’t your everyday artisans either!
Whatever the case may be, Ole St. Paddy’s is chock full of great stuff to use in celebration of the day. Be sure and take a look around before ye leave.
Always remember to forget the troubles that passed away. But never forget to remember the blessings that come each day.
