orchids – April ’14
Moth Orchids

These beauties have been in bloom since December! D bought a ‘green’ orchid, thinking it might be a rare bird. Turned out it was a ‘dyed’ bird. π
Joke’s on him.
But, a pure white phale has always been on our wish list, so…no harm done.
When the green flowers were spent I trimmed the stems just below the last flower joint and within a few weeks there were new stems with buds. Gorgeous!
