bless them often

At close of day, my thoughts go out to those friends who have lost loved ones, faced medical emergencies, received a bad report from their doctor or experienced another life changing situation in the past few days. For those friends, life was changed forever in an instant.

Dear Hearts, we never know what tomorrow will bring. I want to shout, “Take NOTHING for granted.” Thank God for life and health, for salvation and the promises of a loving Father. Pray for guidance and protection over your home, your family and friends.

Bless them often with God’s high priestly blessing found in Numbers 6:23 and following:

“Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them,

24 The Lord bless you and keep you:
25 The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
27 “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”

Put God’s name upon your people, knowing that He watches over His Word to perform it.
