In early April of 2016, the Lord said, “The trouble is, you think you have time…You don’t.”
Buying back wasted time is probably not going to happen. And yet we talk of living outside of time, where we are in Christ.
In that season I considered negativity something that reared it’s ugly head all to frequently in my life, and the words from Philippians 4 came to mind:
…Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about. Philippians 4:8 TLB
Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have.
Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice! Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. …Philippians 4:4-9
One must walk consciously only part way toward the goal, and then, leap in faith toward success.
Peter called to him: “Sir, if it is really you, tell me to come over to you, walking on the water.”
“All right,” the Lord said, “come along!” So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.-Matthew 14:28-29
Right then I knew—It’s time to decide to start living the life I’d imagined. The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize the situation is over, you can not move forward. Faith means believing in advance what will only make sense in reverse. Don’t worry about failures. Worry about the chances you miss when you don’t try.
There is no joy in holding on to anger and frustration, at yourself, or another, over a situation you cannot change.
Mark Twain is quoted as saying,
“Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.”
Mark Twain was a very wise man.
Whatever may have caused the scales of your life to tip in favor of the darkness, your thought for today ♥ Your mission is to be so busy loving your life, you have not time for hate, regret or fear.
Your peace is more important than driving yourself crazy trying to understand why something happened the way it did.
Let it go!
Remember, “what is impossible with man, is possible with God. Luke 18:27. When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen. Isaiah 60:22
