the missing month of May

Most of May went missing this year, and in that period of time everything—everything— changed.

On the 3rd my old nemesis returned with a vengeance. At first a few sneezes, then an irritating cough. Within 24 hours, POW!! full-blown sinusitis. O well. This stuff usually wears itself out in 7 to 10 days. Yeah right.  I’ll spare you the ugly details. Suffice it to say I slept 20 out of the 31 days in May, spent beau coup $$$ on a doctor visit and meds, missed ALL of my normal activities and groups, including church. Ugh! Nasty….

So… after plenty of sleep, and plenty of prayer… I’m BACK.

During those weeks we put two weekly groups on summer sabbatical. We entered a “new season” spiritually, now we’re thinking of writing more and going less. That, hopefully, means you’ll be seeing more posts here and, and, there’s a new study in the works that should be ready to go live online by mid-August.

Thanks to everyone who prayed and stayed around during the nasty stuff. I do so appreciate y’all.

see ya soon
