What Place Does God’s Word Have In Your Life?
We are recreated by the Word:
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.” (1 Pet. 1:23)
We are to be indwelt by the Word:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;” (Col. 3:16)
We are built up by the Word:
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)
We are healed by the Word:
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalm 107:20)
Our fellowship with the Father is by keeping the Word:
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23)
Faith comes from hearing the Word:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Rom. 10:17)
We must live by the Word:
“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Mt. 4:4)
Let the Word of God prevail in your life!
