Grace and peace on your weekend Dear Hearts ❤

Looking back through my journal this morning I came across this page.

❤ The deepest desire of my heart in this season is to see my friends and family “holding on to God for dear life.” If you don’t know Jesus as Lord, call on Him. He DOES answer. He WILL BE at your side and rescue you. Don’t doubt, just trust. ❤

Psalm 91 has been my “go to” scripture throughout most of the pandemic madness over the past 2 years. When life is at its darkest, there is always something to be thankful for. In the NIV translation I find:

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8

The Message Bible tells me:

“because God is your refuge,

the High God your very own home,

Evil can’t get close to you,

harm can’t get through the door.

He ordered his angels

to guard you wherever you go.

If you stumble, they’ll catch you;

their job is to keep you from falling.

You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,

and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God,

“I’ll get you out of any trouble.

I’ll give you the best of care

if you’ll only get to know and trust me.

Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times;

I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.

I’ll give you a long life,

give you a long drink of salvation!”

Psalm 91
