“The Lord will fight for you, and you won’t need to lift a finger!” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Quit praying and get the people moving! Go Forward!
Exodus 14:14-16 TLB
If you live long enough you eventually figure out that sometimes the smallest step in the right direction can turn our to be the biggest step of your life. This Biblical principle can be found from Moses to maps. Tiptoe if you must — but take the step.
Just because you aren’t making progress as fast as you think you should does not mean you aren’t making progress. Keep going.
“Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.
Romans 12:12-13 MSG
Remember, you’re not going to conquer the rest of your life in a single day. Just relax. Put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Conquer today. Then just keep doing that every day, following Jesus’ teaching. (Matthew 6:25-33 MSG)

By going through our days trying to please everyone but the Lord, fearing change, living in the past and overthinking every circumstance we license the enemy to capture and hold us immovable. Learn to be okay with not being invited, included or considered.
Let me share a couple of thoughts that can break the hold the enemy wants over your life.
One — maybe it’s not always about trying to fix something broken. Maybe forward progress can only be made by starting over and allowing God to create something better.
Two — in the kingdom of God, forgiveness is mandatory! Forgiveness is making a conscious decision to live in the present, even if the past still hurts. It is truly sad how easily someone you were once close to can become just another stranger you don’t know. Forgive them anyway and keep going. Sometimes the greatest test of faith is not getting what you want, but still being able to say, “Thank you Lord.”
It took me a long time to understand what it means to forgive someone. But after a lot of soul searching, I realized that forgiveness is not about accepting or excusing their behavior. It’s about letting it go and preventing it from destroying my heart. Forgiveness is about how I choose to keep going.
Three — if there is something that simply does not make sense in your life today, a question that plagues you about the journey you’re on, or the journey you’ve moved beyond, the best way you can show God your trust in Him is to be okay with the not knowing. Just keep going and trust in Jesus. Only He can turn a mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph and a victim into a victory. There IS victory IN Jesus.
