what’d you know

The older I get the more I know
just how much I don’t know!

As we move into the final two months of 2022 I believe the time has come to share some of what I do KNOW with you. What I absolutely, for certain, know! Most of the things I’m about to tell you I know from my personal experiences gained during the forty plus years since Jesus Christ came into my life. I’ve documented each experience at one time or another here at Contentment Cottage. Follow the links at the bottom if you’re interested in my personal witness.

🟣 I know that crying out to God for help always brings His answer for your needs.

I know that God the Father loves me;

See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
1 John 3:1 RSV

that His Son, Jesus Christ lives to bring me into an abundant life;

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
John 10:10 RSV

and that the promised Holy Spirit lives IN me, guides me and directs my steps.

“These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
John 14:25-27 RSV
