The last twenty-four hours have been crazy!  Wind. Rain. Hail. Cold!!! I spent most of the day working on a new eBook, glued to the computer again. Then late this afternoon, while it was still raining, a blast of bright sunlight flashed through the garden.  I stepped out the back door to let Kai Li go poddy and this is what I saw.

The photo does not do it justice, at all.  There was a slanting rain shower coming down, and every new maple leaf was tipped with a jewel bright drop of water.  Amazing.  I yelled for D to come quick and bring the camera.  Just beautiful!

I wish there was some way to show you the real deal.  This close-up catches some of the sparkle, but it still leaves a lot to the imagination.

Imagine all the glitter and sparkle, highlighted with afternoon sun and drenched with rain. Lovely.
