I told him to smile.  He gave me ‘the look’

What’s ‘the look’ you may wonder.  Ask any young person who spent time in the seventh grade  at TRUS over the twenty year period from 1985 to 2005 and they’ll explain it to you.  Getting the look from Mr. L means he won’t have to say a word, but you know you’re about two seconds from pushing it too far. Pushing it too far is so not a good idea! Our house has been filled with grown up seventh graders for years, and they can all tell you about ‘the look’ and the results of ignoring it.  I tend to laugh at it – but there is a point past which even I won’t push.

So, anyway, we were back in the tee shirt factory earlier in the week and

D painted this koi fish T-shirt 4 himself.

In case you’re wondering the tats are a dragon and a tiger in black and grey, done about twenty years ago, and holding up really well. Sometimes the shading fades if they aren’t well done we’re told.

Don’t send me comments on a Christian Pastor and teacher with tats…I’ll just delete ’em.  For one thing we’ve heard most of  ’em. Besides,

“there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1
