Sometimes the things you wish for just fall perfectly into place.
Last month I wrote a memorial to my lost collection of phalaenopsis that succumbed to an infection of mealy bugs last winter.
Earlier this week, while walking through the local home improvement store, we found this beauty! We brought her home and added her to the group currently in ICU on the back patio. And I have to tell you—things are looking up out there.
Two of the “old crowd” are in bloom. Looking healthy and NO bugs. Two are still struggling. I’m expecting the new comer to offer inspiration and encouragement enough to bring every one back into prime condition before they have to move back into the studio for the winter.
There’s certainly enough beauty here to inspire. Don’t you agree?
