Good morning dear hearts. Wish I had time to write a long newsy post for you this morning.
Problem is I’ve been working long hours in my new position as “Business Consultant” and those hours come from my CCB time allotment. Our schedule is Friday through Wednesday, so posting here is going to be sparse for the next month or so.
Not complaining!
The thing is…I love the work God has given us to do. I did tell you Dick was appointed ‘The Chaplain’ this week didn’t I?
God is SO good!
Last night the…well let me just cut and paste the email I sent D at two this morning. You’ll get the picture.
Good morning Darling. It’s 2:00 am and the Spirit woke me up to tell us this:
Proverbs 4:7-10 7 Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she will promote you;
She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.
9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace;
A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”
10 Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many.The cross references lead me to: 1 Samuel 2:25…”if a man sins against a man, God will mediate for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him? [within this context I felt the Spirit telling me God will mediate for us when men sin against us, but if men sin against the Lord–the servants of the Lord– who can intercede for them?] 1Samuel 2:30…for those who honor Me, I will honor… Proverbs 2:7b He (Christ the incarnate wisdom) is a shield for those who walk in integrity. Proverbs 3:2 for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare will they (the teachings of the Lord) give you.
This is a word of encouragement and assurance from the Spirit of Christ, as we work to bring structure from the ashes and rebuild the work He has given to us in this hour.
Abba Father, thank you and praise you for your words, your promises and your Son.
Amen
There are still many details I’m not free to share with you all, but the goodness, sweetness and beauty of being in the service of The Lord Jesus Christ…that I can shout from the rooftops.
May your day be blessed and may you be encouraged, too.
