How To Plant A Garden

Plant three rows of peas:
Peace of mind
Peace of heart
Peace of soul.

Plant four rows of squash:
Squash gossip
Squash indifference
Squash grumbling
Squash selfishness.

Plant four rows of lettuce:
Lettuce be faithful
Lettuce be kind
Lettuce be obedient
Lettuce really love one another.

No garden is complete without turnips:
Turnip for meetings
Turnip for service
Turnip to help one another.

Water freely with patience
and cultivate with love.
There is much fruit in your garden
Because you reap what you sow.

To conclude our garden
We must have thyme:
Thyme for reflection
Thyme for study
Thyme for prayer

new pages & posts
This week has been all about updating my Garden Notebook posts and setting up new pages for Our Garden.
We’ve talked about the way we want to simplify some of our plantings and re-vamp some of the beds. Now all we need are a few sunny days and we’ll be ready to start a new spring season for real.
