This is a lesson I learned late in life
—a difficult lesson—
not soon to be forgotten.
If you are a child of The King…time has no meaning
Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with The Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as one day. 2 Peter 3:7-9
There are no limits to either time or distance except as man himself may make them. I have but to touch the wind to know these things. _Hal Borland
It is also a scriptural principal illustrated by The Lord Jesus himself. John, the Beloved disciple tells of the Lord turning water into wine at the marriage feast in Cana. Fine wine may take years to reach perfection. Jesus compressed years into seconds when he performed this sign, proving conclusively that IN Christ, time has no meaning.
In 1 John 4:17 we read…”because as he is so are we in this world.”
Time is an illusion for the Believer.
The re-born Spirit will never die, but live eternally IN Christ. There is only one critical element for living “outside of time”
I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, Deuteronomy 30:11-20
That element? The choices I make EVERY day. Therefore I choose life and blessings.
My prayer is that you, too can develop a talent for living outside of time.
