All this will be because the mercy of our God is very tender, and heaven’s dawn is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and death’s shadow, and to guide us to the path of peace.”
Luke 1:78-79
what is peace?
Peace is defined as the absence of mental stress or anxiety. Apostle Paul wrote, “…be anxious for nothing.” J.B. Phillips, noted Greek scholar, translates Philippians 4:6-7—Don’t worry over anything whatever; tell God every detail of your needs in earnest and thankful prayer, and the peace of God which transcends human understanding, will keep constant guard over your hearts and minds as they rest in Christ Jesus.
Peace is a state of mind and spiritual well-being that goes beyond human understanding.
Peace is the litmus test for every decision a believer is called upon to make.
Peace is the gentle assurance that Christ Jesus will guard your heart and mind as a loving parent tenderly guards a sleeping child. [Mark 10:13-15]
where is the path that leads to peace?

The path that leads to perfect peace follows the footsteps of The Lord Jesus Christ, for he, himself, told his followers: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.“
John 14:27
“Be anxious for nothing...”
“Let not your hearts be troubled...”
“... receive the kingdom of God like a child...”
Jesus will guide us to the path of peace. But…
what must we do to stay on the path?
Some guidelines laid out in God’s Word provide instruction.
- pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers [Philippians 4:6-7]
- speak to your mountains [Matthew 17:20 & 21:21, Mark 11:23]
- believe in God’s love [Mark 4:35-41] His PEACE controls all of creation.
