The weatherman was right! Spring was a nice day—today is cold and rainy.
It’s a good thing yesterday was sunny and bright. Otherwise my walk with the camera would have been altogether too late.
Rain, and the possibility of hail !!O NO !!, will shatter the wisteria blossoms without a doubt.
O well…most of this morning has been spent remodeling the Blog. Again. Around here there’s always something to keep me busy. If it rains and gets too cold to be in the garden or the studio I can always work on one of the two manuscripts currently waiting for attention. Or…or, I can remodel the Blog, post pictures for your viewing pleasure, and if things get really boring, update the Contentment Cottage Facebook page. (been taking some time off there – be back soon, Dear Hearts).
So, here’s today’s inspirational quote:
Mother Teresa wrote: “I used to pray that God would feed the hungry, or do this or that, but now I pray that he will guide me to do whatever I’m supposed to do, what I can do. I used to pray for answers, but now I’m praying for strength. I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things.”
And here are the photos I took around the Cottage yard and garden yesterday–
These beauties are only the highlights. Mr. L was out in the garden preparing beds and planing plans in the sunshine, so there will be tomatoes, peppers, some herbs and ? who knows what else? before much longer. I’ll keep y’all posted.
In the meantime, enjoy the springtime you’ve been given.
