Rain! Wonderful, beautiful rain!
The Lord will open to you his good treasury the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands,Deuteronomy 28:12
We’ve prayed for rain (and snow in the mountains) for months. California has been in a drought for years. Last summer was the worst wildfire season in history. Google it! Finally, there has been wave after wave of the wonderful life giving stuff, with more in the forecast.
So what to do on a rainy day? Well…around here it brings out the need to redo the web site for me. And Mr. L turns to the kitchen. Today it was cheesecake. “Death by Chocolate Cheesecake.”
I’m not sharing the recipe until we know how it turned out. Sadly it needs to chill overnight before we cut it. I’ll let you know.
How about the web site? Well, if it’s been awhile since you’ve been here the look is all new. I love, love, love web site design. It’s what I did as a career for a couple of decades, starting in ’96. Things have changed so much in that time…thanks to fantastic advances in the internet, social media and the mobile phone monster. The new design here should be compatible with all of those genres. At any rate, you’re looking at what I accomplished on this wonderfully rainy day.
While I’m on the subject of rain – consider this:
More picnics are spoiled by worry
than are ever spoiled by rain.
