Grace and peace today Dear Hearts ❤ Today I read the following headline on NBC News: “WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will announce sweeping new vaccine mandates designed to ramp up pressure on the unvaccinated, putting in place additional mandates for federal workers and health care providers and calling for the private sector to do the same.”

Buried almost at the end of the article was this tidbit! “Across the country, states are seeing hospitals overwhelmed with Covid patients. In Idaho, which has some of the lowest vaccination rates in the country, officials said Tuesday they were allowing health care providers to begin rationing care to make scarce resources available to patients most likely to survive because of a severe shortage of staff, beds and equipment.”

As I read this ‘news’ it occurred to me that Idaho is one of the last placed you might expect to see mandated euthanasia for the elderly! I would have expected to see this headline originating in New York or California. But there it is! This mandated pressure on us warns me that other states will follow suit…meaning that because Mr. L and I are unvaccinated and worse yet each a couple of years away from 80 years old we could/would be denied health care in order that someone younger and less of a drain on society could be treated.

I’ve been sharing God’s Word on the subject here on the Blog for months. The image above was designed for August 25, 2020. I posted about our position on the matter about a week ago — Bless the Lord — the Gospel is STILL GOOD NEWS!

Dear Hearts, no matter what is coming — and it is coming, and it is coming quickly — as for our house we will serve The Lord and cling to His Word.

My prayer for all of us is Paul’s prayer for the believers in Ephesus:

15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love[c] toward all the saints, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; 22 and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, 23 which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all.

Ephesians 1:15-33
