It’s COLD! A cloudy and 52° Memorial Day weekend here in our Central California valley.

Not the first time I can recall it being cold on this Holiday weekend.
My mind travels back to weekends spent in a tent at 7,000 feet above sea-level in the Colorado Rockies. Now that was miserable. No way to get warm except pack up and head home. Here in California, even though the heat’s been turned off for more than two months, by bundling up in socks and sweaters we can stay comfortable. And the wind isn’t snapping the walls around. Tent camping is for the young! Not the young-at-heart.
Our plans for the weekend, besides staying warm and cozy, include taking a few moments out to remember and give thanks for our freedoms in this land of the free and home of the brave. I hope you will do the same, no matter where you are and what you have planned. Without them…the brave men and women who give their lives to protect our freedoms…

Without them…our United State of America would simply be another war-torn third world disaster area!
Please remember – God has said,
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Be blessed. Enjoy this Holiday Weekend with your loved ones. But REMEMBER!! Please.
