God’s got this

Home!  Home Sweet Home…

Everything is put away—clothes and bedding, clean and folded. Dinner over.  Thank goodness for a well stocked freezer and a thriving garden—steak from the grill; tomato, onion and celery salad; crispy onion threads and ice cream sundaes.

Tonight I’m reminding myself, “Nothing has changed!”

Everything is exactly as it was June 29th when the email inviting D. to interview for a Senior Pastor position arrived.  Granted we took a lo-o-o-ng road trip, spent three nights in motel rooms and six amazing nights in a wonderful home, lovingly prepared just for our comfort and pleasure.  But nothing has changed.  True we met a group of believers who welcomed us with open arms, entertained us with love and acceptance and will undoubtedly be a part of our life from now on-eternally.

But NOTHING has changed.  At least nothing in the natural realm. But…God’s got this. He really does.  He Reigns!!!

I’m too jet lagged (no, make that pickup lagged) to tell you all about it tonight.  And while there were many miracles, big and little, each and every day…while our entire trip was BLESSED… I do believe the most amazing miracles are still being processed in the spiritual realm.

Right now I’m going to get some rest, because today my reminder from God said, “Rest in ME when you need perfect understanding and tender loving friendship. I’ve got this!”
