“I do what I love and what [I believe] people will enjoy. Nobody knows quite how the world is going to shape itself, but as long as people care about art and books and flowers, the world will be a good place to live.  I believe–and always have–that things of beauty and joy endure.” Enid A Haupt – Garden Maker

As September comes to an end I believe we’re moving into a new season, spiritually speaking. There are some new opportunities on the horizon. A friend from long ago has resurfaced and the reunion promises to be a blessing. We think alike! There are rumors of a church start-up happening close to home that we may look into. Yesterday was gloomy and dark, but…

Sing to the Lord, O you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.
For His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.  Psalm 30:4-5 Amplified Bible

Tomorrow, October 1st, marks day one of thirty-one posts to chronicle some of the more “Amazing Days” we’ve experienced.  I’ve been writing the posts sporadically since I first made the commitment to join back in June.  So much has happened during this summer that there are only 18 of the 31 completed so far, but there’s still time to finish, and as September has waned away, my excitement for the project has grown.

If you’ve wondered about my erratic posts this summer—don’t worry. I believe, with all of my heart, our Heavenly Father grows and expands character in our lives as He guides us along the path He has crafted in our best interest. Disappointments may come. God may say, “Wait.” Or “No!”

But JOY endures because His grace and favor are forever.
