…”Actually, I don’t have a sense of needing anything personally. I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am…”
Philippians 4:10-12
Today marks day 40 of our Forty Days of Prayer. I told you about it awhile back. Yesterday I sat down with my journal to review the answers we’ve received—keeping in mind that our God always answers prayer.

Sometimes he says “Yes.” Sometimes he says “Wait.” And sometimes he says “No.”
This time he has said “NO!” No church job. No move to another house. No full-time RV. No instructions about a place to fellowship with other believers. No fences can be mended with estranged family members.
So, as we come to the end of this season of asking for…a church, a house, a community…the answer is… “Be satisfied with what IS.”
Be contented with what you have.
Be contented with where you are.
Today, choose GRACE.

Today, even though I crave the excitement of the adventure—the thrill of the change—tomorrow I hope to be able to say with Paul, “I’ve learned to be quite content whatever my circumstances. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am”
Thank you Lord for answered prayer!
