Choose your friends wisely!

I believe that my Abba, Father, God holds the year in His hands in trust for me.  I believe He will guide me one day at a time. I believe that He will supply me with wisdom and strength for each and every day. I also believe that there is wisdom in the Word showing me what may result from my futile attempts to gather His supply for several days at once. (Exodus 16)

For today, I choose to avoid those who bring drama and strife into my life. For today, I choose to concentrate on “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, … any excellence, … anything worthy of praise”_ Phil 4:8

Everything else…I choose to reject!

Remember, people are contagious. You’re going to catch what they have. If your friends are prejudiced, you’re going to become prejudiced. If they compromise, you’re going to compromise. If they have a limited mindset–no goals, no motivation, that narrow-minded thinking is going to rub off on you. You’re going to become like the people you continually associate with. If they’re not making you better, if they’re not encouraging and inspiring you, helping you to grow…then you need to make some changes. I’m just sayin’
